Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or related field.
• Professional registration with the relevant statutory body.
• Significant experience in child protection or related field.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop intervention strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with case management software and digital tools.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and investigations related to child protection concerns.
• Develop and implement safety plans for at-risk children.
• Provide support and guidance to children and families involved in protection cases.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, schools, healthcare providers, and other child welfare agencies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case records using electronic systems.
• Advocate for the best interests of children within legal and social service systems.
• Monitor case progress and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
• Contribute to the development and review of child protection policies and procedures.
• Provide training and awareness sessions on child protection issues.
