Job summary

Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) seeks a Chief Enrollment & Marketing Officer to unify enrollment, marketing, communications, and brand strategy. This remote senior executive will lead admissions, CRM optimization, AI-driven workflows, and market intelligence across domestic and international audiences, with two residencies on campus annually.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in higher education enrollment, strong storytelling, and a track record of strategic change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Experience in higher education enrollment, mission-driven organizations, media, nonprofit, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of enrollment strategy and CRM systems.
• Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns.
• Excellent analytical and financial management skills.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
• Proven experience leading organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive enrollment strategy for the institution.
• Lead admissions operations from inquiry through matriculation.
• Manage marketing, branding, and communications for national visibility.
• Oversee CRM, data analytics, and AI-driven enrollment workflows.
• Develop market intelligence and partnerships to expand reach.
• Lead budgeting and resource allocation for enrollment and marketing.
