The role requires a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, 6+ years in process optimization, and experience with Aspen Plus/Chemcad, Python or R, and machine learning approaches.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of chemical process engineering experience with focus on optimization and data analysis.
• Experience with Aspen Plus or Chemcad and statistical analysis tools.
• Programming in Python or R is highly desirable.
• Experience with APC and machine learning techniques in chemical processes.
• Strong independent work and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from chemical processes to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement advanced process control (APC) strategies and optimization algorithms.
• Utilize process simulation software to model improvements.
• Collaborate remotely with plant engineers to implement and validate strategies.
• Troubleshoot process issues from data analysis and operational feedback.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on performance and recommendations.
• Stay current with advancements in process optimization and chemical engineering software.
• Contribute to digital tools for remote process monitoring and control.
