Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Chemical Process Engineer focused on optimization to improve yield, energy efficiency, and sustainability. You will analyze plant data, identify bottlenecks, develop and implement improvements, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and R&D teams in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires 4+ years in process engineering, proficiency with Aspen Plus or HYSYS, and strong data analysis skills to drive data-driven improvements in a challenging chemical

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 4+ years of process engineering experience with a focus on optimization.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of unit operations, thermodynamics, and SPC.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration in hybrid work settings.
• Willingness to commute to Paarl, Western Cape.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze process performance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve yield, reduce energy use, and minimize waste.
