Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field with a strong focus on process development.
- 5+ years of experience in chemical process R&D, including hands-on lab work and pilot plant operations.
- Proficiency in process simulation, modeling, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with statistical experimental design (DoE) and data interpretation; strong knowledge of kinetics, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and develop novel chemical processes; optimize existing ones.
- Use process simulation software (Aspen Plus, PRO/II) and data analytics to model behavior.
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to validate designs.
- Prepare technical reports and feasibility studies for new process initiatives.
- Collaborate with researchers, project managers, and engineers across time zones using virtual platforms.
- Troubleshoot challenges during development and scale-up.
