Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a Revenue Integrity professional to maintain the Chargemaster, ensuring accurate charging data, pricing, and payer compliance across hospital and professional services.

Responsibilities include CDM development, CPT/HCPCS updates, quarterly audits, and collaboration with IT and departmental leads to maintain price transparency and compliant charging practices. Remote eligibility may apply for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6 years’ Revenue Integrity experience may substitute.
• Experience in hospital and professional revenue cycle operations.
• CMS regulations governing coding and billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Charge Description Master development, maintenance, and CDM reimbursement analysis.
• Review changes to the CDM and oversee related work.
• Ensure accuracy of charges, descriptions, and codes in the Chargemaster.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to maintain compliant Chargemaster practices.
• Prepare annual CPT/HCPCS updates and regulatory changes.
• Create internal policies and tools for Chargemaster maintenance.
• Analyze pricing data and present recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare CDM and payer reimbursement reporting on a regular basis.
• Monitor charge patterns and ensure proper cross‑walk with clinical systems.
• Conduct quarterly CDM audits and coordinate with departments on issues.
• Support price transparency initiatives and compliance monitoring.
