Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Revenue Integrity professional to oversee chargemaster, charge capture, and billing practices across the enterprise. You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure compliant, timely reimbursement and optimized cash flow.

The role supports remote work from anywhere in the U.S., with potential in-office requirements in certain markets; includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience required in billing, charging, Charge Master, coding or health care revenue cycle.
• 2+ years of experience working with CPT/HCPCS, UB-92 Revenue Coding, modifiers, billing regulations, and APCs.
• 2+ years of experience working with Epic Software

Responsibilities

• Supervise chargemaster and charge capture processes, researching coding and billing guidelines and updating chargemaster as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to improve reimbursement and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate descriptions, coding, pricing, revenue codes, and changes across the chargemaster and charge capture processes.
• Communicate CMS updates to providers and implement necessary chargemaster updates for compliant billing.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Regulatory Review and Analysis, and legal teams to address billing and coding issues.
• Manage the chargemaster tool and recommend policies affecting charge capture and pricing.
