Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a professional to maintain the Charge Description Master and coordinate coding with clinical departments to ensure proper billing categories and HCPCS coding for revenue accuracy.

The role involves collaborating with Revenue Integrity to implement coding updates per payer guidelines, educating teams on charge capture, and producing audit/data-mining reports. Fully remote; must reside in allowed states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 1 year revenue analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the completeness of the Charge Description Master.
• Coordinate with clinical departments to assign Billing Categories and HCPCS codes to identify revenue allocation.
• Coordinate with Revenue Integrity to implement annual coding changes according to payer guidelines.
• Educate charge capture processes across departments to ensure compliance with Federal guidelines.
• Create and routinely produce reports for auditing, testing and data mining for Revenue Integrity activities.
• Coordinate with MedAssets to ensure accuracy of data submitted regarding patient charges and pricing.
