Job summary

The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) seeks a seasoned Business Analyst / Change Management Analyst to support the FAS DDI project and MES initiatives. This 1099 contract role is 100% remote from Day 1, with in-person equipment pickup required and EST hours 8:30–5:00.

Responsibilities include processing and tracking deliverables, coordinating with vendors and SMEs, maintaining version-controlled docs, and producing status reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Change and Release Management with version control.
• Minimum 5 years of SDLC experience.
• Strong data entry and work order processing capabilities.
• Experience with tracking, reporting, process control, and workflow management.
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Located in the United States for the assignment, authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support Change Management Office by processing and tracking deliverables.
• Coordinate MES O&M requests and vendor project deliverables.
• Review, log, and route project deliverables to SMEs and PMs.
• Maintain databases, logs, and version-controlled project files.
• Generate status reports and respond to management requests.
• Collaborate with project teams, SMEs, PMO and vendors on cross-functional requests.
• Support release management workstreams and transition activities.
• Ensure proper SDLC documentation and artifact storage.
