Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, strengthen infrastructure, and advise the CEO and Board.

You will own the finance function—from strategy and planning to reporting and team leadership—and drive the next phase of growth.

Required: 15+ years of progressive finance leadership; Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience including CFO or senior finance roles
• Proven ability to build financial strategy and infrastructure in growing organizations
• Strong background in financial reporting, capital planning, and board communication
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Set and execute financial strategy in partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning
• Lead capital structure decisions, financing strategy, and investor relations
• Ensure the integrity of financial reporting, controls, and compliance across the organization
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting organization
• Evaluate M&A opportunities and lead financial due diligence as needed
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and executive leadership to drive business performance
• Serve as the primary financial voice in board meetings and strategic planning sessions
