Responsibilities

• Own statutory accounting and all regulatory and NAIC filings, with management and group reporting.
• Own the capital plan, including risk-based capital and the rating agency capital model, tested against catastrophe scenarios.
• Lead reinsurance accounting, recoverables and collateral, and work with the appointed actuary on reserves.
• Oversee a conservative investment portfolio and liquidity.
• Lead the financial relationship with the rating agency, the regulator and the auditors.
• Build the finance team, the systems and the controls.
