Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up simulations, run experiments, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.

This fully remote role is open to candidates across the United States. Expect flexible scheduling with approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, plus performance-based bonuses for high-quality delivery; experience with

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; PhD preferred but not required.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification/validation practices: mesh-independence studies and validation against experiment or benchmarks.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
