Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a PRN / As Needed Certified Peer Support Specialist I at the Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center. The role supports individuals on their recovery journey and advocates for their rights within a recovery-focused environment.

Responsibilities include teaching recovery tools, collaborating with clinical teams, and promoting hopeful, person-centered care. This position requires a Peer Employment Training certification and a state-compliant driver policy where

Qualifications

Peer Employment Training certification is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use.
Basic computer skills and ability to teach recovery tools.
Ability to pass state-required de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

Provide peer support to engage individuals in a recovery partnership.
Teach recovery and life skills using recovery tools.
Model hope, self-advocacy and personal responsibility to support recovery goals.
Develop natural supports and community living.
Coordinate with the clinical team to arrange services and resources.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
