You will perform audits, collaborate with clinical teams, and assist in ensuring accurate charge capture and documentation. Travel between locations within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/COC credential required.
• Minimum three years of coding/denial prevention experience in a hospital or physician practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, data entry and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient clinical and billing data to identify denial root causes.
• Develop and implement denial prevention action plans.
