Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance seeks a Certified Coder to support accurate diagnosis and procedure coding for professional services. You will review medical records, ensure correct CPT-4/ICD-10/HCPCS coding, and support documentation integrity.

The role requires CPC or CCS-P certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to educate providers on coding results. This is a work-at-home opportunity serving Middle Tennessee and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must be CPC or CCS-P certified and have strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience with CPT-4, ICD-10, HCPCS coding principles.

Responsibilities

• Review and abstract patient records to assign diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for professional services.
• Ensure services documented are coded with appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes.
• Enter codes into practice management system and correct errors in preprocessing/post-processing systems.
• Provide education to providers regarding audit results with professionalism.
