Qualifications

• Active AHIMA CCS or AAPC CIC certification
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and DRG assignment
• Experience reviewing and interpreting medical records for accurate code assignment
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Ensure compliance with payer, regulatory, and organizational coding guidelines
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams as needed
