Job summary

Mercor is seeking certified medical coders for a remote, part-time role supporting a healthcare AI partner. You will review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation and AI-generated notes to improve accuracy and reliability.

Requirements include active CCDS/CHC/CCS/CPC certification, ICD-10 experience, US-based work, and proficiency in another language at C1+ level. Minimum 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active medical coding certifications required (CCDS, CHC, CCS or CPC).
• ICD-10 coding experience is required.
• US-based employment and English plus another language at advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate clinical documentation for accuracy and coding integrity.
• Evaluate AI-generated notes against standards and provide structured feedback.
• Validate alignment between documentation and assigned codes.
• Contribute input to annotation guidelines and documentation standards.
• Raise clarifying questions to refine guidelines when needed.
