Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Certified Health Coach to join a remote, full-time health and care support team. Coaches conduct structured sessions to educate, motivate, and help participants progress toward health goals while following documented workflows.

The role requires NBHWC-certified training, a health-related bachelor's degree, and the ability to use chat and data systems while maintaining a flexible schedule. Training lasts six weeks with evening hours.

Qualifications

• Completed NBHWC-certified training program required.
• Active NBHWC board certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field required (e.g., psychology, nutrition).
• Experience delivering coaching via chat is a plus.
• Familiarity with center metrics and schedule adherence preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inbound and outbound coaching calls.
• Provide individualized behavior-change coaching to reduce high-risk behaviors.
• Chase non-scheduled coaching calls to keep engagements.
• Coordinate with care team including nurses and vendors.
• Support area to meet customer requirements and caseload.
• Adhere to a schedule and track progress and outcomes.
• Attend daily and monthly meetings for updates and insights.
• Document participant progress and program efficacy.
