Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics seeks a Certification Content Manager to oversee content development for ABPD initial and continuing certification programs, including item-writing assignments and quality-control processes.

In a remote, full-time role, you will collaborate with committee leaders, psychometric consultants, and ABPD staff to uphold standards, ensure validity, and drive improvements in content workflows, systems, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Project management experience managing multiple assignments and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and occasional evening/weekend meetings.
• Willingness to travel 1–3 times annually for 3–6 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of item-writing assignments based on examination blueprints.
• Perform item pool analyses to identify content needs and gaps.
• Conduct quality-control reviews of assessment items for grammar, clarity, and alignment.
• Coordinate committee examination review workflows and finalize content.
• Maintain databases of items, references, and metadata in item-banking systems.
• Collaborate with psychometric consultants to review statistics and revisions.
