Job summary

American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Certification Content Manager to lead the development and quality-control of assessment content for its certification programs. You will manage item-writing assignments, review workflows, and support committees while ensuring adherence to ABPD policies and accreditation standards.

Working with committee leaders, staff, and psychometric consultants, you will help maintain validity and drive continuous improvement in item development methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Project management experience with multiple concurrent assignments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to travel 1-3 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead item-writing assignments based on examination blueprints and program priorities.
• Perform item pool analyses to identify content needs and development.
• Conduct quality-control reviews for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Coordinate committee examination review workflows and finalize examination content.
• Maintain databases of items, references, and metadata in item-banking systems.
• Collaborate with psychometric consultants to review item statistics and revisions.
