Job summary

The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Certification Content Manager to lead the development and quality-control of assessment content used in certification programs. You will oversee item-writing assignments, review workflows, and collaborate with committees to ensure content aligns with standards and accreditation requirements.

Remote position with standard hours and occasional evening or weekend meetings; travel 1–3 times annually.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead item-writing assignments based on examination blueprints and program priorities.
• Perform item pool analyses to identify content needs and gaps.
• Conduct quality-control reviews for grammar, clarity, and alignment with policies and standards.
• Manage committee examination review workflows and coordinate finalization of forms and content.
• Maintain databases of items, references, and metadata in item-banking systems.
• Collaborate with psychometric consultants to review statistics and recommend revisions.
