Job summary

Elessar Systems Inc. is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead as a co-founder with full P&L accountability and a strong focus on strategy, fundraising, and government go-to-market.

This remote, full-time role reports to the Board of Directors and will build the team and set the company's initial strategic vision. The CEO will personally pursue early customer opportunities, manage pricing, negotiate contracts, and establish essential operations, governance, and compliance as the company

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of progressively senior leadership, including at least five years as a CEO or executive with profit-and-loss responsibility.
• Direct experience selling to or delivering for U.S. federal, defense, public safety, or critical infrastructure customers.
• Capital formation experience including venture, strategic, or non-dilutive funding or M&A.

Responsibilities

• Set the company’s strategy and pricing across federal, state, local, and critical-infrastructure markets.
• Lead equity fundraising and manage budget, burn rate, and runway.
• Own revenue, pipeline, and forecast; lead early-stage pursuits and close reference customers.
• Set roadmap priorities with the CTO and build delivery, support, and training metrics.
• Recruit leadership for revenue, finance, and delivery and establish company culture and governance.
• Ensure ISO 27001, FedRAMP or equivalent authorizations, export controls, and security requirements.
• Serve as the principal spokesperson to customers, agencies, and investors.
