Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all scheduling and pre-registration functions to maintain efficient operations.
• Schedules services as requested by physicians or patients and prepares for exams.
• Pre-registers patients in the computer system per registration guidelines.
• Ascertain insurance information to comply with regulations and refer to Financial Care.
• Maintain records in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
• Collaborate with physician office staff and train new staff as needed.
• Maintain department equipment and report malfunctions; assist with work orders.
