Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG) seeks a Center Store Sales Execution Representative to drive Center Store sales across AWG member stores in the Rapid City, SD area.

This remote role requires frequent travel to ensure optimal shelf placement and execution of planograms for AWG Brands and HGS items. Responsibilities include selling new items, managing promotions, training members, and coordinating with brokers on store resets and remodels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school graduate
• 5 years in the Grocery Industry
• Team focused
• Strong merchandising skills
• Ability to use tools like screwdriver, hammer, power drill, saw, etc.
• Valid driver’s license with daily travel and overnights required
• Able to lift 40 lbs. or more and stand/sit for long periods

Responsibilities

• Sell to members on new items and conversions.
• Execute category shelf work via planogram.
• Assist with new store tagging and resets as needed.
• Execute monthly focus objective work for center store portfolio.
• Collaborate with brokers and vendors on store resets, remodels, and shelving projects.
• Provide insights to enhance placement of AWG Brands and HGS items.
• Suggest products and promotions and analyze slow-moving items.
• Manage sales numbers within the assigned territory.
• Train members on AWG center store programs and AWG Brands/HGS.
