Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Center Store Merchandiser in the Sioux Falls area to execute planograms and optimize AWG Brands and HGS item placements. You will work with brokers and vendors on store resets, new store tagging, and monthly focus campaigns.

The role requires strong merchandising skills, 5 years in grocery, and a valid driver’s license for daily travel. You will train store members on AWG programs and contribute promotional opportunities across the Center Store portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school graduation acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years in the grocery industry.
• Marketing or sales background is preferred.
• Team-focused with strong customer service skills.
• Strong merchandising skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use hand tools and lift 40 lbs or more.
• Valid driver’s license with daily travel and overnights.
• Comfortable bending, standing, and sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sell on new items, conversions, and voids; optimize shelf placement for AWG Brands and HGS.
• Execute category shelf work via planogram
• Assist with new store tagging and resets as needed
• Carry out monthly focus objective work from Center Store team
• Collaborate with brokers and vendors on store resets and remodels
• Recommend category layouts and shelf allocations; provide insights for AWG/HGS
• Suggest products and promotions; analyze slow-moving items to drive orders
• Maintain sales figures for the assigned territory
• Assist in member training of AWG center store programs
• Provide additional merchandising ideas and reporting support
• Complete required territory reporting for the Center Store Sales Manager
