Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking an AWG Sales & Merchandising Representative to increase Center Store sales through effective shelf management and selling tools in AWG member stores. The role covers grocery, health, beauty, wellness, and general merchandise within the Sioux Falls area and requires staying within 30 miles of the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities include executing planograms, assisting with store resets, collaborating with brokers, and promoting AWG Brands and HGS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school graduate.
• Minimum 5 years in the grocery industry.
• Marketing/sales background.
• Team focused and customer service oriented.
• Strong merchandising and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell to members on new items and promotions with proper shelf placement.
• Execute category shelf work via planogram.
• Assist with new store tagging and resets.
• Manage monthly focus objectives for Center Store portfolio.
• Work with brokers and vendors on store resets, new stores and remodels.
• Provide recommendations to optimize placement of AWG brands and HGS items.
• Support AWG center store training programs.
• Complete territory reporting as required.
