Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a remote Day Shift Scheduler for Central Scheduling. This full-time role operates in the Central and Mountain time zones, with working hours approximately 7:30a-5p CST or 8a-5p MST.

Responsibilities include pre-registering patients, handling inquiries, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while complying with HIPAA and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and experience in a call center or healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication skills and attendance management are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides world-class patient experience by identifying and resolving patient needs in a compassionate manner, and adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations as measured by QA scoring and First Call Resolution.
• Safeguards patient information through HIPAA compliance and Ardent policies and procedures and security guidelines.
• Ensures efficient interaction with patients through effective management of Average Handling Time and Aux offline time.
• Displays strong written and verbal communication with patients, clinics, and colleagues.
• Pre-registers patients accurately and engages clinics when necessary to ensure a seamless healthcare experience.
