Valley View Hospital is seeking a remote Coder in Glenwood Springs, CO for a part-time, PRN day shift. The role requires CCS credentials and at least three years of hospital coding experience for inpatient and outpatient coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.

Applicants from Colorado are preferred for a remote position, with compensation including a 14% PRN differential. This non-clinical coding opportunity supports both hospital billing workflows.

Formación

• Holds active CCS credential at minimum
• Minimum of 3 years coding experience
• Proficient in ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Understanding of reimbursement methodologies and CCI edits
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsabilidades

• Code inpatient and outpatient services with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS
• Resolve billing work queue edits and review claim denials
• Maintain daily chart review volume with high coding accuracy
• Collaborate with billing and clinical staff as needed
