Job summary

East Texas A&M University is seeking a CBE Onboarding & Admissions Specialist within the College of Innovation and Design. This remote, full-time role guides prospective students from inquiry to first-term enrollment, reviews applications, and applies admissions policies.

You will analyze transcripts, TSIs, and other credentials, determine eligibility, and provide individualized guidance while maintaining confidentiality and excellent customer service. Occasional campus travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience in student services, customer service, higher education, admissions, advising, enrollment, records, or a related field.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and related applications; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prospective student qualifications and enrollment pathways to guide appropriate enrollment options.
• Interpret and apply university, state, and CID/CBE admissions policies and requirements.
• Review transcripts, transfer coursework, and other credentials to determine applicability toward program requirements.
