Sazerac Company is seeking a Category Manager to drive insights and retailer strategy across the liquor channel. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations and partner with sales to optimize distribution and shelf presence.

This remote-first role supports national retailers, with a focus on driving growth through data-driven category management, analytics, and strategic initiatives. Strong Excel, Power BI, Tableau skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Trade Marketing, or Customer Strategy within CPG/beverage/alcohol.
• Experience supporting national large format retailers (e.g., grocery chains, Walmart, etc.).
• Ability to translate data into customer-facing recommendations that drive results.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong communication and presentation skills; self-motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insights to inform retailer strategy and in-store execution across the liquor channel.
• Act as category steward for major liquor chains, delivering recommendations to grow brand and retailer business.
• Identify incremental sales, space, and assortment opportunities for mutual growth.
• Create bite-sized insights to help field sales unlock distribution and shelf growth.
• Translate data into compelling selling stories for sales teams.
