Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a remote Category Manager to drive insights, assortment strategies, and retailer profitability across the liquor channel for national partners. You will translate data into actionable recommendations, partner with sales leadership, and influence shelf execution using Power BI, Excel, and planogram tools.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CPG category management or shopper insights, a Bachelor’s degree, and a proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of Category Management, Shopper Insights, Trade Marketing, or Customer Strategy in CPG/beverage.
• Experience supporting national large format retailers (e.g., grocery chains, Total Wine & More, Walmart).
• Proven ability to translate data into customer-facing recommendations that drive results.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated consumer, category, and market insights to inform retailer strategy and in-store execution across liquor channels.
• Act as a category steward for major liquor chain partners with insight-led recommendations.
• Identify and prioritize incremental sales, space, and assortment opportunities.
• Develop bite-sized insights to help field sales unlock distribution and shelf growth.
• Translate complex data into clear selling stories for sales teams.
