Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Category Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies for kitchen equipment and restaurant solutions. You will drive category performance by managing supplier relationships and supporting new openings, remodels, and ongoing operations.

This full-time role emphasizes strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of category management, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP or Smartsheet is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier management and performance monitoring.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, and service.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage lifecycle including renewals.
• Conduct RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and analyze proposals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support openings, remodels, and operations.
• Identify opportunities for new programs and solutions to enhance experiences.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers.
• Evaluate category performance for savings, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Support compliance, onboarding, pricing maintenance, and audits.
