Job summary

Mondelez International Inc. is seeking a Category Analyst to leverage consumer, customer, and market data to deliver actionable insights and drive category initiatives.

This fully remote role partners with cross-functional teams, including trade marketing and sales, to optimize assortments and planograms. The ideal candidate is highly analytical with strong storytelling skills and experience using syndicated data sources to build data-backed narratives for retailer strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Category Management, Insights or Analytics (CPG/FMCG industry required)
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills
• Experience with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, Numerator)
• Experience using retailer data, shopper insights and analytics to develop comprehensive customer strategy and plans
• Knowledge in analyzing and creating visualizations of large amounts of data
• Experience developing customer facing presentations
• Experience with Crisp reporting & automation a plus
• eCommerce / Omnichannel experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports and presentations translating complex data into clear narratives
• Support modular and planogram evaluations and recommendations
• Build data backed narratives that influence retailer strategies including pricing, promotions and product placement
• Act as a consultative category expert during customer meetings
• Evaluate and improve shopping experiences across brick & mortar and ecommerce
• Develop and synthesize market research into actionable presentations for Mondelez and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, category leadership, trade marketing and omni-channel activation
• Present to retailer teams and participate in Joint Business Planning / value creation
