Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America, is hiring a Category Associate in San Francisco. You will own a high-growth category from day one, building relationships with sellers and buyers and driving business outcomes across onboarding, marketing, and data analytics.

You will learn quickly, be exposed to cross-functional teams, and spend time in our hubs while occasionally working from home. Graduating by Summer 2027 and bringing internship experience will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Graduating by Summer 2027 and able to commit to a program.
• Internship experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Become the go-to expert on your category, including seller/buyer dynamics, community channels, influencers, and product nuances.
• Source and reach out to sellers to join and grow their business on Whatnot.
• Partner with top sellers and strategic partners to build big businesses on Whatnot.
• Spearhead marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness and attract buyers.
• Use basic data analytics skills (SQL) to derive insights and drive process improvements.
