Job summary

Whatnot Inc. is seeking a marketing manager to drive hyper-growth and help sellers scale their businesses across categories from beauty to collectibles. You’ll design and execute campaigns, events, influencer partnerships, and creator content integrations to generate demand.

You’ll collaborate across channels, measure KPIs, and iterate on strategies, with flexibility to work from home or at our hubs in SF, LA, Seattle, or New York.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience at a high-growth startup, marketplace or creator-focused platform is a plus.
• Able to plan and execute campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong on data, KPIs, and performance tracking.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own buyer acquisition across a priority category, devising campaigns and events that generate buzz and grow demand.
• Plan and execute on-platform events, product releases and other community moments across multiple channels.
• Manage a portfolio of influencers, including being the DRI for the relationship, content ideation, execution, and reporting.
• Partner with other marketers, such as social or paid creative to develop plans that support tentpole campaigns for your category, along with providing them category insights on an on-going basis.
• Measure and iterate on the effectiveness of category marketing initiatives.
