Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Category Associate to learn how a fast-growing marketplace operates by owning real relationships and driving business outcomes from day one. You’ll build a foundational toolkit across seller outreach, onboarding, relationship management, marketing, and data analytics on our Launch team.

After two years, you’ll specialize in a mature category or function, becoming an expert and paving a path toward leadership at Whatnot.

Qualifications

• Internship experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to expert for your category, including seller/buyer dynamics and product nuances.
• Source and reach out to sellers to join and grow their business on Whatnot.
• Partner with top sellers and strategic partners to build big businesses on Whatnot.
• Lead marketing initiatives, including influencer partnerships to boost brand awareness.
• Use SQL and other data analytics skills to derive insights and improve processes.
