Job summary

Identity Digital Innovation Labs is seeking an independent contractor who will own the category narrative and build a rapid-response media engine to secure coverage and influence policy discussions. You will work directly with reporters, analysts, and Washington stakeholders to shape the story around agentic accountability.

Qualifications

• Fifteen-plus years leading corporate or external communications in technology with meaningful B2B/enterprise experience.
• Category creation experience and ability to show market-shaping language and outcomes.
• Front-line media chops with hands-on pitching, newsjacking, and direct agency management.

Responsibilities

• Own the category narrative and position Identity Digital Innovation Labs as the go-to name for agentic accountability.
• Build and run a rapid-response media engine; manage reporter relationships and pursue proactive story opportunities.
• Navigate DC media and policy landscapes; engage with policymakers and standards bodies as needed.
• Activate Advisory Council networks for reporter conversations and executive spokesperson readiness.
• Plan and execute launches, partnerships, and industry milestones with cross-functional teams.
