You’ll build reporter relationships, run a rapid-response engine, and steer external communications with a small, fast team at the forefront of identity standards.

The role demands 15+ years in tech communications, category creation experience, and leadership across owned and earned channels.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading corporate or external communications in technology.
• Category creation experience and ability to drive market narrative.
• Front-line media chops including pitching and newsjacking.
• Experience building a communications function from zero and scaling it.
• Fluency with policy audiences and the press that covers them.
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to produce clear, concise copy.

Responsibilities

• Own the category and articulate the market need for agentic accountability.
• Build a rapid-response press engine and develop reporter relationships.
• Navigate DC media and policy landscape to accelerate standards work.
• Activate Advisory Council and build executive spokesperson bench.
• Lead launches and moments with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing).
• Manage agency partners and establish cadence for leadership communications.
• Demonstrate impact by linking publications to customer meetings, partnerships, and policy traction.
