You will own the category narrative, build a rapid-response media operation, and manage reporter relationships across national outlets, while steering advisory councils and spokesperson development.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years leading corporate or external communications in technology with B2B/enterprise focus.
• Category creation experience with market shaping and language
• Front-line media pitching and opportunities creation
• Experience building a communications function from zero, at pace
• Fluency with policy and standards audiences and the press
• Exceptional writing; able to write without reliance on others
• Experience across owned and emerging channels (social, Substack, YouTube, podcasts, developer communities)
• Comfort using AI to extend the function while maintaining human judgment
• Translating technical work with engineers and product managers
• Agency/contractor/budget management
• Drive, hustle, external orientation; able to work in a small, fast team
• Willingness to travel and work across time zones

Aufgaben

• Own the category narrative and ensure IDIL is the reference for agentic accountability
• Build and run a rapid-response media engine; manage reporter relationships and briefs
• Navigate Washington DC media and policy landscape for government affairs work across NIST, IETF, etc.
• Activate the Advisory Council; map spokespeople and bylines; plan appearances
• Own GEO and AI discoverability in responses to LLM queries
• Lead launches and moments for product, partnerships, standards milestones, events
• Manage agency partners and build a leadership messaging discipline over time
• Show measurable linkage from published content to customer meetings and partnerships
• Model and promote Identity Digital's core values in day-to-day work
• Other duties as assigned
