Job summary

Peraton seeks a Catalog & Technical Documentation Administrator to support a DoD contract. You will build and maintain BOMs, validate items against CLIN/SLIN, and prepare import files for the catalog system, ensuring contractual compliance.

The role involves pricing analysis, EOL/EOS/EOM research, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Asset Management, and Logistics. You will review vendor datasheets, distinguish hardware vs software costs, and defend catalog accuracy during audits.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree with 4 years; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, data validation, and large-file reconciliation.
• Comfort with product and pricing math: discount percentages, margin, amortization, and monthly vs. outright purchase pricing.
• Clear written documentation habits and an audit-minded approach to version control, traceability, and change management.
• Ability to coordinate across Finance, Asset Management, Logistics, PMO, and technical staff to move catalog items from proposed to approved to retired.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for communications and networking equipment and software.
• Validate proposed catalog items against the CLIN/SLIN scope and document SKU-to-SLIN mappings.
• Prepare and load structured import files with SLIN/SKU identifiers, descriptions, specs, quantities, and configuration data.
• Research and document End-of-Life, End-of-Sale, and End-of-Maintenance schedules for catalog parts; coordinate replacements.
• Gather, document product pricing details to prepare pricing documentation for Finance; coordinate with Asset and Logistics for serialization and renewal tracking.
• Audit catalog conformance to contract structure; prevent duplicates and retire obsolete items with version history.
• Perform related admin, data entry, and PMO support tasks.
