Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Catalog & Technical Documentation Administrator for a 100% remote role within a DoD contract framework. You will research vendor documentation, validate items against CLIN/SLIN, and prepare controlled catalog records relied on by Finance and Logistics.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with a focus on Microsoft/VMware licensing, BOM maintenance, and pricing documentation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required and a Secret clearance is needed.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years, or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to read vendor datasheets and licensing docs; distinguish hardware vs. software, perpetual vs. subscription, recurring vs. one-time costs.
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, data validation, large-file reconciliation.
• Comfort with product and pricing math: discounts, margins, amortization, monthly vs. outright pricing.
• Strong written documentation habits and audit-minded version control and change management.
• Ability to coordinate across Finance, Asset Management, Logistics, PMO and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain BOMs for networking equipment, software, licenses, VMs, storage, servers and endpoints.
• Validate catalog items against CLIN/SLIN scope and document SKU-to-SLIN mappings for auditability.
• Prepare and load structured import files with SLIN/SKU, descriptions and configuration metadata.
• Research and document EOL/EOS/EOM schedules and coordinate replacements.
• Document product pricing, including discounts and amortization for Finance review.
• Audit catalog for conformance to structure and retire obsolete items.
• Perform admin, data entry and reporting tasks for the PMO and related teams.
