Job summary

Ledgebrook is seeking experienced Casualty Underwriters for General Liability and Unsupported Excess lines to join our growing team focused on profitable, risk-aware underwriting and strong broker relationships.

As a member of the Casualty team, you will interact with wholesale partners to drive appetite submission flow, underwrite new business and renewals, and collaborate with a high-performing, entrepreneurial group in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Casualty underwriting experience.
• Experience with admitted and non-admitted paper.
• Strong team player or independent in fast-paced settings.
• Underwrite new business and renewal policies for Casualty.
• Deep wholesale broker trading relationships.
• Clear articulation of appetite and value proposition to brokers.

Responsibilities

• Drive appetite submission flow and convert opportunities quoted.
• Underwrite new business and renewals for Casualty.
• Develop and advance wholesale broker relationships.
• Travel independently to meet brokers or attend industry events.
