Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Cash Receivable Supervisor to lead a team in a remote nationwide role.

You will supervise cash posting, payment processing, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies. You will coach staff, monitor KPIs, resolve posting issues, and collaborate with payers and internal departments to improve workflows and financial results within the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare cash posting, payment processing, reconciliation.
• 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash posting, ERA, EOB, and reconciliation procedures.
• Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and other payer reimbursement.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and payer adjudication.
• Experience supervising staff with KPI focus and process improvements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
• Experience with EHR and revenue cycle applications.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with CAHs, RHCs, rural health environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash posting, payment processing, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Coach and manage cash posting staff and performance.
• Monitor productivity, quality and turnaround times; apply corrective actions.
• Ensure timely posting of payments, adjustments, denials, and other transactions.
• Oversee daily reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Review EOBs/RAs to ensure accurate posting.
• Resolve unapplied cash, unidentified payments, and posting errors.
• Coordinate with payers, internal departments, and clients to resolve issues.
• Identify payer reimbursement trends; report findings to management.
• Maintain SOPs and internal controls; support process improvement.
• Provide ongoing training and cross-training to team members.
• Conduct QA reviews and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare operational reports and KPIs; support leadership.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to improve workflows.
• Maintain knowledge of client systems and payer requirements.
• Ensure excellent internal/external customer service.
• Assist with staffing, workload distribution, and evaluations.
• Perform cash posting and reconciliation as needed.
• Oversee ERA and EFT enrollment and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with banks and vendors on deposits and remittance issues.
• Vendor/clearinghouse management for remittance issues.
