Veta Virtual is seeking a Cash Operations Specialist to own daily cash positions, bank reconciliations, and liquidity for a fast-growing fintech client. This role collaborates with accounting, treasury, and payroll to keep numbers accurate and deadlines met in a fully remote setting.

You will allocate and record cash payments, manage GL journals, reconcile balances, report KPIs, and support audits and tax queries.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of experience in treasury operations, accounting, or banking.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and business concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with AI tools to support reconciliation and reporting is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Allocating and recording cash payments across accounts.
• Owning the completeness and reconciliation of transactions and related accounts.
• Creating and parking GL journals tied to bank statement transactions.
• Managing banking relationships and related transactions.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations with supporting docs.
• Owning balance sheet GL accounts and monthly reconciliation.
• Reporting on KPIs for the department.
• Handling audit and tax queries with clear explanations.
