Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient computer skills to include internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
• Experience with Epic or other EHR System.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Associates degree or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 2+ years of experience in medical or insurance billing in lieu of associates degree.

Responsibilities

• Process and post payments not posted through automation.
• Interpret an EOB and input that detail into Epic.
• Collaborate with trainers and develop internal documentation to support processes.
• Cross-functional collaboration across departments to resolve payment issues.
• Mentor new staff and train day-to-day workflows.
