Job summary

Datavant is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Cash Accountant to manage high-volume cash operations across multiple entities. You will handle daily cash postings, reconciliations, and reporting while partnering with Treasury, A/R, and A/P teams to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance.

The role emphasizes process improvements, automation, and strong internal controls in a fast-growing health-tech data platform company. This remote-eligible position offers exposure to cross-functional finance streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience in cash accounting or AR in high-volume multi-entity environments.
• Experience with large transaction datasets and multiple payment channels.
• ERP experience, preferably NetSuite; Coupa experience for A/P.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with automation tools or system integrations is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash postings across 40+ bank accounts and entities.
• Monitor cash balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Support Treasury with daily cash position reporting.
• Own cash-related journal entries and month-end close.
• Manage high-volume transactions across multiple systems.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain documentation and support audits.
• Collaborate with Treasury, A/R, A/P to resolve issues.
