Levelociti, a remote-friendly independent CPA firm, seeks a CAS Staff Accountant to support Client Accounting Advisory Services for nonprofits, startups, and small businesses. You will handle ledgers, reconciliations, and payroll tasks while collaborating with a remote team across time zones.

The role offers ongoing mentorship, CPE support, and overtime compensation with a base salary up to $70,000. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1+ year CAS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1+ years of Public Accounting CAS experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers and record journal entries across a portfolio of client accounts.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes.
• Work with balance sheets, income statements, trial balances, and charts of accounts.
• Support both cash and accrual basis accounting.
• Assist with payroll processing and quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
• Identify discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues.
• Communicate directly with clients and team members to gather information and keep work moving.
• Take on increasingly complex responsibilities as your experience and confidence grow.
