Job summary

K-LOVE is seeking a Care Team Specialist I for a full-time remote role. This position serves callers and online contacts with prayerful, Bible-based guidance, within a mission-focused ministry.

Remote from anywhere in the US but within 225 miles of Franklin, TN for occasional training, with travel to HQ as needed. Candidates should have ministry experience, strong customer service background, and solid scripture knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on ministry experience required.
• At least 1 year in a customer service environment required.
• Previous ministry training (volunteer, leadership or staff) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scripture and God's word.
• Good listening skills and spiritual discernment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and social media; fast typing (45+ WPM).
• Associates degree in biblical studies/theology a plus; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer prayer line calls and provide spiritual support as appropriate.
• Demonstrate empathy and care in conversations and referrals.
• Handle inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, text).
• Triage and transfer crisis calls to pastors or departments when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold Care Team values in every interaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet ministry goals.
• Participate in ongoing training to keep skills current.
