Job summary

K-LOVE is seeking a Care Team Specialist I to assist listeners through prayer lines, provide compassionate support, and coordinate with pastors and teams across ministry channels. The role emphasizes confidentiality, discretion, and a strong faith-based approach within a busy on-site environment.

Ideal candidates have ministry experience, solid scripture knowledge, and excellent communication skills. On-site duties in Franklin, TN with flexible evening schedules and holiday coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on ministry experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Previous ministry training (volunteer, leadership or staff)
• Solid understanding of scripture and knowledge of God’s word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a commitment to model Care Team Values in interactions.
• Practice the “5Cs” on every call and interaction.
• Answer prayer line calls and screen for appropriate support.
• Provide empathy and care about listeners’ struggles, needs, and concerns.
• Complete prayer edits and other ministry tasks when needed.
• Support emails, chat, text, and multi-language channels as necessary.
• Transfer callers to pastors or departments for additional support as appropriate.
• Meet and exceed minimum expectations for work production and team culture.
• Maintain confidentiality of listener information and records.
