Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Care Coordinator, Utilization Management (UMCC III) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the UM department in a remote role. You will drive workflow improvements, support payer interactions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient utilization management and quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in utilization management or healthcare operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in utilization management, healthcare operations, or a similar role.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in utilization management software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven organizational and detail-orientation skills.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management team.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.
• Navigate multiple electronic platforms to support UM processes.
• Meet performance and quality metrics; perform other duties as assigned.
